I went there for my birthday celebration with my family! We had a reservation and it was a Saturday! The place was crazy busy and we were.told to order at one go as the kitchen was behind schedule. There was also a party going on the first floor! Our food tastes good. The portions aren't big if you are a person with a nice appetite. I felt my garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic on them. The rest was well laid out as per the menu. I tried the Brie sirloin steak, fish tacos, kids burger and kids pasta. Churros for dessert and drinks (Sangria kinda drink + bourbon and ice)
We came for a quick bite after work and had Vanessa as our server. She was great! Was very helpful in suggesting dishes and our food came out fast with her checking in on us frequently. As a local guide I would recommend coming here for either a quick bite or a sit down meal whether it’s with friends of family! Thank you again Vanessa, cheers!
It was my first time coming to Houston. Felt like eating a good juicy steak. Honestly this is the place to be. Beautiful looking place with good atmosphere. Great service, our waiter Justin was on point and served us with a great attitude and smile. I'm usually a little critique on food. Everything was cooked splendidly,the steak was juicy medium rare as I asked and the vegetables crunchy and well seasoned. This definitely won't be my last time. 5 stars!
We recently went there for a Christmas lunch with a group and it wasn't anything to rave about. We first walked in to be greeted by a manager, he was not very friendly or helpful. Tells us go to back up stairs. Sir it's our first time here, he walks 3 -4 steps and says back there. We get upstairs and join the remaining group to place a beverage order maybe 15 min after being seated. Took about another 20 minutes after order for drink to come to our table. The service was not good either. No attention to empty drinks or if we'd like water etc. We place our lunch order for food. About 1 hr after it arrived. We had 2 tables, our table had 3 orders of the chicken tacos or wraps that were all burnt. Under cooked steak, tartar was not good. My colleague spoke to waitress to give constructive criticism to maybe improve service being not once did they ask if everything was OK with food and we ate with empty cups. She had the nerve to roll her eyes at us! She replied oh well. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
I attended a large group birthday dinner. We were seated close to the entrance in December so it was really cold- I ate dinner with my winter coat on. Food was small portioned and warm at most, for me; nachos lacked toppings, steak was the ‘warm’ concern, vegetables were served in a minimal amount, and the Caesar salad was served with only romaine lettuce and Parmesan cheese (no croutons or bacon). I would not recommend this restaurant for a large party event.
Amazing food great service would recommend this place to anyone the peanut butter cheese cake for desert was amazing and the lobster was cool to perfection just loved the meal
Had the beef tartar, my colleagues had Caesar salads and burgers. Everyone raved about the food. The beef tartar was fresh and prepared perfectly, just enough Dijon and gherkins. Could have used more bread but it was actually plenty because the dish was so delicious I could eat it with a fork. No egg yolk, but that is totally understandable due to the risk involved with serving raw eggs and really with the seasonings and doodads you can get past the lack of egg. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
Came late night and shared some apps and drinks with a friend. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. Nice, big and meaty shrimp!
